Edward J. Olsen is a seasoned construction executive and entrepreneur with over 25 years of leadership in the industry. As the founder and owner of Dicor Construction Group, he has built a diversified portfolio of companies specializing in demolition, excavation, foundations, concrete, and general contracting. Known for his integrity, operational expertise, and long-standing client relationships, Mr. Olsen brings a strong corporate ethos to every project he leads.

Edward established Dicor Construction Group through the creation of AGE Equipment Inc., and has since expanded the business to include seven entities, including Dicor Construction Inc. and Neslo Industries Inc. Under his leadership, the company has successfully completed over 20 major projects in the last five years, with budgets ranging from $500,000 to $10 million. Dicor Construction is distinguished by high customer retention and a reputation for delivering quality results.

Heavy Equipment Operator – International Union of Operating Engineers (1985 – 1998)
Prior to launching his own ventures, Edward gained hands-on experience operating heavy machinery across large-scale road, bridge, and airport construction projects. His deep field knowledge in drilling, de-watering, shoring, and foundational work laid the groundwork for his entrepreneurial success.

Dylan is the Vice President of Operations and Head of Logistics/Fleet Management at Dicor Construction. He grew up in the construction world and has spent the past decade fully immersed in the industry. After earning a Business Management degree from Hofstra University, he brought that knowledge straight to the field, helping shape the systems that keep Dicor running smoothly. With a strong focus on efficiency, logistics, and doing things right the first time, he plays a vital role in keeping projects on schedule and equipment operating smoothly.

With over 30 years of experience in heavy highway, site development, and municipal infrastructure, Bud Sexton brings deep industry knowledge and strong leadership to every project. 

He has successfully managed large-scale municipal contracts and private developments across New York, handling everything from estimating and budgeting to project management and field operations. Known for his practical problem-solving and ability to keep projects on track, Bud has built a solid reputation for getting the job done right.

Whether overseeing crews or coordinating with contractors and municipalities, he delivers consistent results with a focused, hands-on approach.

After retiring in 2012, Dan Mearns realized that the retirement life was not for him and started his own financial consulting firm. In that capacity, he was introduced to Dicor Construction Inc. in 2021 and at that time assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer. During his tenure, Dan has brought financial and administrative stability to Dicor.

Prior to Dicor, Dan held senior positions as Executive Vice President Finance and Administration with publicly traded international corporations and he is currently enjoying his 56th year in business. Although his consulting firm is active, Dicor remains his main focus of attention.

Ron is the Senior Construction Estimator at Dicor Construction. He has over 20 years of estimating experience in the Construction Industry, specializing in foundation systems and concrete structures. Areas of expertise include deep foundation systems, SOE, excavation, and concrete foundations. He is also familiar with residential & commercial general contracting, marine construction and various construction trades. 

He is detailed and analytical of each project, means and methods, able to identify cost drivers, and can discuss project design and alternatives via value engineering. He is proficient with estimating software, industry standard computer programs, and possesses the mathematical abilities to calculate all project expenses. His background and experience provides him with the ability to understand project requirements and include precise costs while minimizing project losses for contractors, owners and developers. In addition to project estimating, he is capable of managing projects. 

Ron’s educational background includes an Associate’s Degree in mechanical drafting, a certificate in Computer Systems from the United States Marine Corps, a Bachelor’s of Science in Professional and Liberal Studies with a minor in Computer Science, and has studied Construction Management and Engineering Technology at Farmingdale State College.

Experienced and a detail-oriented Construction Bookkeeper with over 25 years of proven expertise in managing financial records, budgeting, and regulatory compliance within the construction industry.

Shay has Extensive knowledge of construction workflows and is skilled in providing high-level administrative support, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and maintaining accurate financial data.

She is Recognized for streamlining office processes and contributing to efficient project execution through precise cost tracking and vendor management.

Maureen has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of corporate finance, accounting, financial systems conversion and internal controls.

Her experience spans several industries, including telecom, non-profit, advertising, construction, retail and publishing.

Maureen McLennon has an MBA in Business Management from Trinity College (Dublin Ireland) and a BA in CPA Accounting and Information Systems from Pace University (Pleasantville, NY)
